  • 8th Annual Dig Deep for Cancer Tournament

    11am check-in with 11:30am start. Lunch (chipotle bowls) being served 12:00 - 1:30. Approximately 150 people.

    Slight adjustment - will be on SATURDAY, September 26th.

    Join us for the (slightly delayed) 8th annual Dig Deep tournament at Grand Sands. This is a recreational tournament for up to 28 teams, each team will get at least 4 matches between round robin and tournament play. We will have both a Quads (C level) and a Sixes (D/rec level) group, all teams must have at least two women on the court at all times.

    Cost is $25 per person. Lunch will be provided again, working out specifics but will likely be a variety of burrito bowl.

    Please post if you want a Sixes or Quads spot and your captain/team name!

    Men’s, Women’s & Coed Doubles (Amateur and Novice levels) sanctioned by AVP America at Grand Sands. Register on the AVP America event site.

    Format
    Pool play followed by single elimination tournament.

    Sunday Divisions
    •Coed Amateur
    •Coed Novice

    Novice (AVP America B) - Pairs just learning to play doubles and/or players that typically do not qualify for the Amateur main draw tournament.

    Amateur (AVP America A) - Pairs that are not able to compete in a Pro/Open tournament, however are too strong for the Novice level.

    Registration Fee
    Amateur $30/player
    Novice $25/player

    Doors open at 8:00 AM for check-in and warm-up. Play begins at 8:30 AM. Please be prompt to ensure that we start on time.

    You may pre-pay entry fee in advance via Venmo to @CinCityVolleyball or on site during check-in via cash or credit.

    Cash and/or Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place finishers of each division. Prizes are distributed in equal value to each player on a team.

    All players must have an active AVP America membership. Teams must register on the AVP America event site. The tournament director reserves the right to move a team to a different division depending on skill and tournament registration.

    Outside food and drink is not permitted at Grand Sands. Grand Sands offers a full bar and kitchen.

  • AVP America - Mens & Womens Doubles Open

    Mens Doubles Open
    $40.00 per player
    Format - Double Elimination
    REGISTRATION DEADLINE - FRIDAY 7:00PM
    You must be a Volley America member to play. Cost is $20.00 and is good for 1 year from the date that you register. For membership registration go to www.volleyamerica.com.

    THERE IS TO BE NO OUTSIDE FOOD, DRINKS OR COOLERS BROUGHT ON TO THE PROPERTY.  THEY MUST BE KEPT IN YOUR CAR.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  

    Grab a partner and get registered for the AVP America Men's & Women's Open Doubles. The tournament that will begin at 8:30AM SHARP cost is $40.00 per person. Spread the word and get registered. You need to register online at www.avpamerica.com.

    All entry fees must be paid in advance. You can pay with Venmo (@Grand-Sands) or call us with a credit card at 513-884-4388.

    You must have an AVP America membership for this tournament. You can do that at http://www.volleyamerica.com/LoginPlayerInitial.aspx.

    There is no outside food, drinks or coolers permitted. Must be kept in your car.
